The hotel at the Cathedral was really nice, with rooms of the usual Mercure standard. The service was exceptional here, but the staff was pleasant yet unhelpful. The location was quiet and easy to find for an overnight stay between Caen and Civray. The dining experience was very good with an excellent choice at a slightly pricey rate. Overall, it was a great stay with a few minor points to consider.
